So MONDAY’S aren’t exactly everybody’s favourite day of the week! You’ve just had that brilliaaant weekend socializing, chilling with a duvet, watching your favourite film, or whatever you like to spend your free time doing… then, when your alarm clock goes off in the morning and you think about the day’s work ahead of you, nothing seems more appealing than staying in your bed– we all know the drill! But let’s face it, most of us have some kind of work to get up for, so seeing as though we can’t avoid it, we might as well do those little things that make it a bit more bearable along the way. So here are my top tips for getting through the week…
1. Organise your work space. You should be thinking filing cabinets, folders, bookshelves– all of those storage devices, little or large, that can organise your work into categories, clear up clutter and just make navigating your way around a lot easier.
2. Add your personal touch. Photographs, decorations, lamps are all brilliant ways to spice up your workspace and make it that little bit you. Because surely if we enjoy our environment, we are more likely to enjoy the time that we spend in it.
3. Make a list. Jot down a list of things you have to do that week, either categorised by priority or by day by day demands, as it then prevents us from going over and over the same things in our head, which is enough to drive anybody crazy.
